Not new to chickens, but new to sole ownership. We received ours yesterday.

We have 22 new little chicklets.

Gold Deathlayer, Chamois Spitzhauben, Gold Spitzhauben, Ayam Ketawa, Bruges Fighter, Schijndelaar, Exhibition Cream Legbar Pullets, Lavender Wyandotte/Lavender Wyandotte Split, Mechelen Turkey Head, Swedish Black Hen,Black Copper Maran
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Right now, they're absolutely adorable! Looking forward to having fresh eggs and also breeding, depending on how many males/females we have to work with.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Knitting, sewing, embroidery, World of Warcraft, and reading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are raising our 2yo granddaughter and have a Boxer dog and a Siamese cat. We have a Chicken McMansion out on 10 acres in Geneva, FL.
