Hi. Tim here and my handle is IdeashareCFS.

My family and I live in Delaware and this our third year raising chickens. This year we started a new flock: red sex-link, Araconas and a token Silkie.

We are in a suburban location so we had to give away a couple of the Aracona roos. Now we have a Silkie that is going through puberty. Was supposed to be a hen. Oh well.

Good stuff on this forum. Looking forward to reading and contributing in the months to come.

Welcome to BYC Tim. Hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Silkies are very, very difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age, and sometimes not till they crow or lay.
