1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No, we started raising chickens when I was a tiny kid.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Right now I only have 22, but it will rise and fall throughout the season. I try to keep at least 20 hens and a rooster.

(3) What breeds do you have? Red, Barred Rock, Bantam, and Golden Comet

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Nigerian Pygmy Goats, bees

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have a couple of dogs and a barn cat. I'm a full-time farmer and beekeeper.

Howdy and Welcome to Backyard Chickens!
I'd love to one day become a full time farmer. I've been thinking about bee keeping myself and plan on doing it this spring once we get our pastures planted with Timothy & Red clover. But right now i'm focusing on breeding poultry. I'd love to see some pics of your pygmy goats as well, I've got a couple myself and love em' to death.
