Hi!
My name is Kim. My kids and I have two hens and 4 chicks. We have a variety of chicken breeds. Black Australorp, Buff Orpington, Jersey Giant, Rhode Island Red, Golden Lace Wynadotte and an Amber Link.
I learned of this site when we brought home our first batch of chicks around 2 years ago. Now, with babies in the family again, I need to refresh my memory on a few things.
We also have a beagle who is very gently with the chickens. Probably because she has been pecked a time or two by them.
I look forward to having a place to ask my "chicken" questions.
