Hi Everyone!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My daughter and I got our first chickens June 2021.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
At the moment we have 14
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have 1 Wyandotte, 2 Orpingtons, 3 Marans, 1 Brahma, 2 Hedemoras, 3 Ameraucanas, 2 Isbars
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Definitely just hanging out with them. We find them so interesting to observe and interact with!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have 2 border collies that I train and compete in agility with. They keep me busy!
(6) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
We are on our second hatch now. We have some H'Mongs in the incubator and I am anxiously awaiting those first pips! BYC has been my go to guide on all things chicken and I so appreciate this wonderful community! Thank you all!!
