hello and welcome! so if my math and spelling are right, you now have 2 hens and 3 cockerals... could this spell trouble?

Had a guy come and pick up the Buff Orpington Cockerels so we are now at 2 three year old auracana hens and the cockerel sold to us as a Green Queen. We wanted pullets to be sure we got hens too.

Hi everyone, just found this site and joined. We are new to raising chickens. We got our first 4 hens last year from a family that was moving. We lost two over the winter. So in April we bought three pullets. We were told they were hens, but we woke up to crowing yesterday. Turns out my two Buff Orpingtons were roosters. Now I’m looking at my Green Queen as well.
