Introduced a rooster to my hens yesterday.........

.......how long after breeding with the girls will the eggs be fertile??

I read in another post 2 weeks...sometimes longer, but 2 weeks the rule..... but, I'm sure someone with the certain answer will post as well

I'd give him a good week to make sure he has made his rounds too all the girls. Sometimes hens can not let a rooster breed them if they don't want too, and if the rooster is young, he may not quite have it down right, so may take longer.

Hopefully, in a week or so, you'll have fertile eggs, but my rooster took five long months before he got it right. He's very laid back, LOL.
