Introducing 4 w/o chicks to 12 w/o chicks - docile breeds

Hi everyone!

I’ve got two 4 w/o chicks - 2 polish & 1 salmon Faverolles in a large brooder setup, and am wondering if I could introduce my two new pullets - 12 w/o Silverudd Isbar and Olive Egger to them and have them cohabitate.

The two pullets have been quarantined and vaccinated for marek’s/ILT. Very sweet, calm, gentle girls. What do you think?!

Thank you! They’re very sweet! I tried it out. At first the babies were bouncing off the big girls as if they were in Mario World, but then the big girls started pecking. I think we’ll do short monitored interactions for a while

Makes sense!! I do that too! I do the assessment, then go from there.
