Introducing 9 week old coturnix hen to existing group

I hated a single coturnix hen 9 weeks old and would like to add her to one of my breeding groups that needs another hen. I’m concerned about them being aggressive though. Any tips for doing this? Is it better to put her with them in the evening before they bed down for the night? Do I need to watch them for awhile?

9 weeks old is fine to introduce her to the new covey. There are two ways that may work.

1 - Take all of the birds out, completely clean and rearrange their pen, then put them all, including the new bird in at night. When they wake up, they're all on equal footing.
2 - Put them where they can see each other but not touch for a week or two before putting them together.
