I have 5 fully grown hens I've had for about 4 years and 6 chicks who are now 10 weeks old who I assume are mostly girls except for one meat chick who is a rooster and were planning to give to our neighbor a friend of a friend who lives in a subdivision got a rooster from the bantam bin at tsc roosters are not allowed so they gave him to me and he's so much smaller than I expected my girls seem mammoth compared to him and I'm worried about him getting picked on to much he seems to be doing ok ( staying with the chicks mostly but not to close ) any way I can help him be more comfortable I just got him today and decided I would just let him roam free range with the rest of my flock.
