I am getting a new chick to add to my flock that is the same age as the ones I currently have. What precautions do I need to take when introducing them? Since they are the same age can I just let them go together, watch for awhile, and if all things look copesetic let them be?

I don't know how chicks behave, but if it were a hen, I would definitely introduce at least 2 at the same time. one gets picked on way to much!

Yup, when it comes to age and all, introducing a chick to more chicks is fine except that it is only one chick. At the least, I've introduced 4 Marans to 8 Ameraucanas - They got along fine. Otherwise any less and I'd worry of them being too scared or picked on.
