Introducing a new chicken to my Bantam Cochin

I recently had to put down 1 of my 3 hens due to a genetic growth that wasn't allowing her to breathe. Who I have left is a silkie and a bantam Cochin, both 20 weeks old. My Cochin seems lost and I would like to add another chicken. What age chicken should I be looking for?

I would personally go with a little hen that was close to the same age, and size. So sorry for your loss. Just a tip, adding two would be even better because, sometimes the newbie gets bullied for a while. If you bought two from the same place, then at least the newbie would have a buddy.
