Introducing a new chicken

After we had one of our three Rhode Island Red chicken we got a new one and she hasn't be acting the same as the original flock of 3. I was told to take one of the chickens I have had and put it in a separate enclosure with the new chicken to get them to know each other and stick together as 3. Does this look like what I should be doing? Lol if so how long should they be in there for?

3 or 4 days might be enough but you'll need to play it by ear.
I might add that the quarters they're in now look extremely small and they will probably get bored and start attacking each other out of boredom.
