introducing a new duck. how long to wait?

I have 3 females one pekin one blue Swedish and one runner. I rescued a male from some people going to eat this gorgeous duck. How long to wait and go through a quarantine period? Once I have pics I will show you how he looks. Not sure if its male or female how to listen to the quack lol

Keep the new duck separate for at least 30 days, just to be on the safe side.

New healthy looking ducks should be quarantined for 3-4 weeks. In that time they should be treated for internal and external parasites. At the same time watch out for signs of possible illness. Commercial breeders or show bird breeders usually isolate new birds for 90 days to assure safety of their current flock.

so i was supposed to get this "duck" from these spanish people who didn't speak very good english.... and it turns out they were saying "dog" not "duck" ...... oh no i can not have another dog lmao. just my luck -_-
