Introducing a new hen with a bad eye

hello again I have a chicken that we rescued with a bad eye. She is pretty well better now and we want to put her in with our other hens . we have a hen named iris and she kept on attacking her. The first time she was cornering her and the second time we put her in at night but when I checked on her in the morning she was in the corner with her head down and her eye was very injured. I don't know what to do because it is getting cold and I don't want her to be alone in the winter please help!

Integration of a single bird is always difficult. Integration of a visually impaired bird is even more difficult because of their vulnerability. I would try adding birds one at a time to her pen allowing days for adjustment - starting with the least aggressive and adding Iris last. In reality it may be impossible to integrate her safely.
