Hi fam. I recently got two chicks but lost one last night. I can't have my chick solo as I know it's not good. I have plans tomorrow to bring in a new chick. The new addition will be 6 weeks as that is all that's available, my current chick is 5 weeks. I am wondering the best was to introduce them to eachother so they establishe a good relationship. Any advice?
Thanks!

First just try sticking the new one with the present chick. They may surprise you, and after the obligatory peck on the head, they may proceed as if they'd known one another forever.

If you witness interaction that continues in the vein of aggression after the initial meeting, you may need to separate them within view of each other until they become better acquainted.

Okay! Thank you very much for your response :) I'm hoping things go smoothly, I'm excited because my current chick is quite lonely.
