I doubt if the 6 month Black is cocky enough to want to mess with the old Barred. Probably *worst* case scenerio is the Barred will chase the Black around all day knocking the hens over, bouncing off the walls and creating chaos and you have to boot one of them if they don't settle down.

Yeah the Barred might do that but he should settle down within a week or two. All will be fine as long as no blood is drawn.
