About 2 weeks ago I hatched a duckling. Had 36 eggs and only got one... but that's not the issue here lol. Last time I hatched eggs I only had one hatch as well and she got very lonely so we were able to find one to buy that was a comparable age. I don't want this duckling to get lonely so I would like to introduce to my flock sooner rather than later. I have a rabbit hutch where my ducks free range that is clean and could put the duckling over there during the day but I have no hydro there to bring a heat lamp over. Do you think the baby would be ok on days when it's about 20-25C? I'm still gonna bring him/her to the brooder for night time. Thoughts?

Baby duckling is now out of the hutch and with the other ducks!! I found transition went smooth BUT she is sort of the loner... doesnt follow the other ducks around and does her own thing. She follows my daughter (her "momma") more then anything but is getting better at sticking with the flock :)
My chickens were defiantly better to this duckling than the last time we introduced new ducklings! No fighting at all this time!
