Introducing adult chickens to flock

So, I'm thinking about getting some bantams from a local poultry show for my daughter's 4h. I have 5 7 week old standard pullets that will be around 15 weeks by the time of the show. Would it be worth it to attempt to integrate a couple bantams with the flock, or should I save myself the headache by ordering chicks instead?

My main concern is if you have space and the set up for biological quarantine https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...nderestimated-part-of-raising-chickens.67097/ as there's always some risk of parasites or disease when you bring in birds from outside sources. The risk is much lower with bringing in eggs and hatching or ordering newly hatched chicks from a commercial hatchery.

Thanks for the link! My thought process was that it would be slightly easier to quarantine birds from shows, because they usually don't let birds in who have visible external parasites. Of course, if one bird from the show happened to be sick, it would spread like wildfire...
