introducing another female muscovy help!

Hello

I have 2 coops one coop has a male rapist drake with pigeons the other coop has
small female with pigeons

Pigeons and ducks love each other, but ducks HATE & bully chickens

ok a man is dropping off a muscovy female at 10pm tonight on his way past my
city

Can I put the duck right in with my female duck or should i put the new duck
with the male?

I only have 2 coops but i dont want to wake up with a dead duck

anyone? thanks

The new hen should be fine if you put her in with the other hen. You may want to watch them for a few minutes after you put her in, but she should be okay; especially since it would be dark.

I agree put the hen with the other hen. your male might easily hurt her if he is as horny as you say. what breed is the male? and is there a female or three you might consider getting for him? he really just wants to mate (it is spring) and his aggression is probably frustration.

I had to seperate him from the hen because he kept mating with her non stop

Thats why i bought another hen to try and make this work out hopefully

the rule of thumb is three ducks per drake, he may still have a preferred mate.
