Not my first baby to ever die, just first out of the babies I’ve incubated.

Once I’m back from running errands I’ll put baby with mama. It was walking around the brooder earlier, tripped over its big feet but was getting better and better at it.

The two outside ones are doing amazing. Little jerks already

The last duckling is being kept inside. It wasn’t accepted by the other ducklings, it was by mothers but I guess the other ducklings decided they didn’t want another sibling.

I have a silkie hen who had always been the ‘failure to thrive’ Deal And is getting bullied for it, so they give each other company. She’s still warming up to him, but he adores her.

He loves the cat too
