One hatched, it’s drying before I put it with mom. Other one should hatch by tonight, it’s making great progress.

Doesn’t quite now how to use its body right now, it looks like a fish out of water. But it’s got a good Protecter!

Kitty doesn't try to eat them? asking because I would really like to have a kitty but worried about it wanting to eat chicks and ducklings. Very cute pics. Hows mom doing with the new babies you've added?

My cat loves all our birds, except the big muscovies of course. She grooms the babies, let’s them climb all over her, etc.

She’s accepted them all so far! She took the two oldest ones out of the shed right on the porch, to check on me building the shed.

She took these two outside today!

I’m cautious now though to add the other two. Since she’s taking these outside now, would she leave the others if I added them?

These are the only ones she has right now. I had to leave and the others weren’t dry yet, so I left them under the heat lamp.

The most recently hatched baby passed away, so there’s one left that’s not under them. It had a really swollen belly, I don’t know if that’s the cause of death or just failure to thrive.
