Introducing chicks to juveniles

I have 4 week old chicks (5) that I need to introduce to 12 week old juveniles (3). I was going to sneak them in during the night, what do you think? I have kept them in a "look but don't touch pen" in the free range yard for almost 2 weeks.

Anyone? Any advice would be most appreciated! Sneak them in at night, spend more time with them in the pen, introduce them one at a time, remove the rooster, don't worry about it? Help?

I'm personally not a fan of the night method. I prefer letting them out together when I can be there to over see everything.
