Introducing chicks to other flock

I recently bought 6 chickes at tractor supply and there are outside and i want to put them with the other two hens but I've noticed that the hens are butting ther through the wire how should I intro Duce them together without anyone getting hurt?

It will be better to wait until you chicks are more or less the same size as the hens before introducing them. Mature chickens can injure or even kill young ones very easily. In the meantime keep them within sight of each other so they can get to know each other. It will make the future integration much smoother. When the time comes let them free range together at first and keep an eye on them. There will be some bullying as they re-establish the pecking order, but unless they draw blood or the bullying gets excessive, don't intervene.
