Introducing ducklings

So my ducklings just reached 8 weeks - they have been free ranging with my friendly drake and his partner and my special duck who has no interest in breeding /. I have two huge brother Pekins that have been separated from the flock for the last month and they are starting to fight with eachother - is 8 weeks too young for the babies to meet the big boys ? They have already been housed next to them for a month with “look no touch “. I’m so ready for everyone to get along spring is just crazy hormonal for them

At 8 weeks females will be raped even drakes when you have 2 hormonal drakes on your hands. It would be much better to wait until they are at least 4 months before letting them all be together. If you need to separate your Pekins during this time that maybe your best alternative.

You wouldn't want a Pekin on top of a 8 week old, best to separate them so they can see each other but can't touch, until the ducklings are much older.

That’s what I was afraid of , better to be safe than sorry.... maybe time to put up another fence . Duck math is no joke ! How did I go from 2 rescue ducks this time last year to 13 ?!? Spoiled babies !
