Introducing ducks

So our older ducks had babies that are 4 weeks old. We brought them in after a few days old . The other day we decided to take them back outside for awhile for the first time and both big ducks were not very nice to the babies . How long does it take for them to get use to each other again?

The best way to integrate and they don't see them as theirs is to have temp fencing set up so babies are on one side adults on the other and let them live like that for a while and since you have a drake they will have to be laying age before they can be with him.

Look no touch pen and free range as you look after them. No need to fully separate unless Drake is trying to breed them.

If the adults are not nice you still may have to keep them separated but side by side for a time. You'll have to use your own judgement according to how the adults are behaving. Some bullying permitted but out right attacking no.

Thank you .. here is something else I noticed with one of the babies . When looking at the picture on right side chest area seems larger than the right and bigger than the other babies .. is that normal!
