Gunner is sweetest when sleeping.

I can't believe your puppy is a year old already. He sure is a cutie pie!

Puppies are SO darn cute when sleeping. You definitely understand what it means to "let sleeping dogs (puppies) lie" when you own a pup, it's the only break you are gonna get!

Yes, time flies at super sonic speed these days, I can hardly believe Toby is going to be 1 year old tomorrow too!!

We are pretty lucky. These big dogs are good at not making potty in the house and sleeping through the night from a young age.
Those naptime breaks are definitely needed lol. I would never get anything done if it wasn't for those.

I get a wee bit grumpy when someone wakes the little monster.

I will scratch that belly if I can make it past those teeth.

Buy stock in bandaids!

That's funny, we call Toby the little monster too! I tell the hubby to keep it quiet all the time when Toby is sleeping so as to not wake the monster.

Yeah those teeth are brutal!! I was SO glad when Toby's started falling out. They came out pretty quick too around 6 months old, several a week were coming out, teeth everywhere, in toys, on the floor, sucked up in the vacuum.

Gunner gets extra obnoxious when over tired.

It's really good for him that the big dogs here are gentle and willing to play with him.

This is River when she was about 5 months old. She is 2.5 years old now and quite a bit bigger. She is awesomely massive. She was rolling in the grass with little Gunner yesterday trying to stay low enough he could play properly with her. In the background is Delilah.....she prefers to pretend the puppy doesn't exist.

It's nice when you have other dogs, puppies learn from them, takes the pressure off you for playtime and such. There were times I wished Toby would stop bugging me to play and had a playmate. But that can also mean twice the trouble!

Wow, River is huge! If she sat on you, you could get crushed! Aww....poor Delilah, she can't be bothered with the nonsense of kids.

Gunner has a wonderful home with you and other doggies!

River is a big girl at at least 130 pounds now. Her mom was 125 and her dad was 130. She grew well for being the absolute smallest of the litter.

River DOES sit on pops lol. Every evening she has her lap time in the recliner with pops. She is careful about how she climbs in and settles down for snuggles.

This was taken when she was just 5 or 6 months old. So tiny!

Meet Gunner! He is our latest addition to a very busy household.
He is an 11 week old bloodhound. He has been home for 3 weeks now and we are working through his sharp puppy teeth stage.

Holy Crow she IS huge!!! But she looks so soft and snuggly. What a sweetheart.
