My Ameraucanas/EEs are a bit broody for chicks, but I really don't want to risk them just yet. I figure when they're big enough, I'll put them in a crate in the coop and have the other chicks get used to them.
In some ways, I feel kind of annoyed because I wanted older chicks.
But when I saw the fuzzy butts, you know all reason goes out the window.
I really want some marans and she's going to be breeding some. Expensive chicks at $6 to $8, but hey, I don't pay for shipping.
