Introducing my ducks to each other.

Hi all,
I got a pair of Khaki Campbell ducklings today and since i already have a rouen drake at home I was wondering if I should worry about my rouen drake fighting with my Khaki Campbell male when it becomes time to introduce them. Any advice whould be greatly appreciated.

Most likely you will- the Rouen being older will be asserting his dominance. Also being that you will ionly have one female- there will be many issues with that as well. The boys will fight for her- and she will end up being over mated by them both in their competition to be the one fertilizing her eggs. A ratio of sexes the opposite to what you have would have been better.
