Introducing myself: hello!

1) we got our first chickens in April of 2017.

(2) As of now (August 2019) we have 8 chickens and 5 ducks.

(3) 1 Black Astrolorp
1 Gold Lace Wyandotte
2 Rhode Island Reds
2 Buff Orpingtons
2 Cuckoo Marans
Then we have 5 Khaki Campbell’s.

(4) Getting to know them with their personalities and knowing I’m eating eggs from chickens taken care of humanely.

(5) I’m a very caring and creative person. I love painting, writing poetry, music of all kinds, and I love the outdoors. Sitting in the woods with my husband next to a river is paradise for me.

(6) I am a full time nanny and part time portrait photographer. My husband manages the cashiers at the big local grocery store but would love to find a job that has him outside and not with hundreds of people all day. We do not have kids yet. We also have two cats. One old lady cat he’s had longer than he’s known me, and one younger lovely boy who is super sweet.

Aloha, your flock sounds awesome- all of them! Congrats on a DH who was able to care for a cat b4 meeting you ...you know you have a good one . Not sure where you are at on this planet but I hope it is close to the woods and streams. Welcome to BYC!!
