I got my first chickens back in May (2018), so I am somewhat new. I currently have 18 birds, about 10 different breeds: Rhode Island Red, New Hampshire Red, Buff Orpington, Speckled Sussex, Wellsumer, SLW, GLW, Partridge Cochin, Barnevelder, and Easter Eggers. One of the two and a half roosters is Light Brown Leghorn.

True, I like the eggs, but I mostly enjoy the sight of the chickens, different colors foraging through the snow cover or going about their business on the tall grass.
