Hello everybody. My name is Blake and I'm a teenager who doesn't have chickens anymore. I'm planning on starting with chickens very soon, so I joined BYC to make sure that I could keep them safe, because all my mom's chickens died from a fox attack. Any tips would be appreciated. Sorry to hear about your mom's chickens. Having a predator proof coop and run is very important to prevent losses. Using hardware cloth instead of so-called chicken wire goes a long way, as well as digging a apron around the outside of the enclosure.
