That poor little chick. I'd be surprised if the bones of her foot are not broken.
Thank you kindly y'all have made me feel very welcomeHi, welcome to BYC! thanks for joining us and pleased to meet you.
Howdy and thank you so much. My heart will be crushed if I can't save it. So far eating and drinking well and I've got her or him cuddled in one of the hens sweaters with a foot wrap. I don't have the money to get the poor darlin to the doctor and where I live there isn't very many doctors that handle birds. Prob like closest one is three hrs away. So I'm trying with all I got to save it.Hello and welcome to BYCSo happy you have joined our flock.
Poor little chickBest of luck with helping your chick

I would use a warm compress on her foot frequently.I did clean it. And as far as if the trap was used or not I'm not sure. I have some of the antibiotic cream but not the kind without the pain relief. I have left the bandage loosely yes and thank you so very much for all the pointers as for pain relief is there anything I can give it?
I have been doing those since I spoke to you last night. I have been able to get a little bit of aspirin water down so far eating and drinking good rewrapped and now cuddling in one of my hens sweatersI would use a warm compress on her foot frequently.
If she seems to be in a lot of pain, maybe a 1/4 of a baby aspirin every 8 hours. Idk if it is or isn't a good idea, but if I were in pain, I'd want some relief. Aspirin may be irritating
