Hello everyone call me Aardyn. I currently have only 4 chickens, I had two more but I lost unexpectedly. I first got my chickens last summer as pullets from a friend who already had chickens and new I wanted some. Currently I have a Buff Orpington, a Black Cochin, an Egyptian Fayoumi, and a Buttercup. My White Crested Black Polish was snatched by a hawk (the poor baby), and I had a Colombian Wyandotte that passed away (I'm not sure why). At the moment only 3 of the 4 are laying eggs the Cochin has not "started paying rent" as my husband likes to put it.

It will be nice to talk with someone other than my friend about chickens as I think she may be getting tired of my pestering her with every little thing lol.
