Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Very nice job in the coop and run setup. The only thing I would suggest is to add more clutter such as branches attached to the sides of your run so they have some place to perch during the day. You can also pay attention on garbage day and grab any old wood chairs or stools someone's tossing out and put them in there. My birds love to hang out on those. You can put in stump arrangements of varying heights and diameters and these double as extra feeding stations to keep the peace amongst the flock. Eventually you're going to integrate new flock members and they come in very handy during that time.
I would also add a layer of organic material to the run such as wood chips or dried leaves or a combination of whatever you have there that's handy. It gives something for the poop to cold compost with and the chickens like scratching around in it looking for bugs and other critters to eat.

I do not like birds at all in general. Never have. They’ve always creeped me out a little bit, but watching these girls grow up has been good entertainment. I don’t ever get tired of watching them. They’re like the six stooges. I know they’re really smart in some ways but they are also pretty stupid in others and I can’t help being fascinated by their ridiculous behavior.

I love the brutal honesty of your intro. Beautiful coop, run, and brooder! Your brooder looks just like the two hubby made for me. Ours sit counter top height though as I'm old and didn't want to bend over at all to take care of them. When you get older, you can add leg extensions. :)

Thankyou. I added some photos. They aren’t chicks anymore. Tweedy and Wynona , which are the shot-callers of the group (we were almost certain they were roosters for a month or two), actually started laying a few days ago. Tweedy is the one in the only solo photo.
