So darn cute I had to share! I'm in the process of imprinting her with the chickens and so far so good but we have a looooooong way to go before I'll even think of trusting her with my precious feathered friends.
She's defiantly full of spunk and gives the old dog a headache!:smack

I am sure you know this, but I will state it anyway. It is VERY important that these puppies are well socialized. Introduce this puppy to a lot of different people under different circumstances. The more exposure the better. Another thing, get it used to having its feet and ears fooled with and being touched all over. Your vet will thank you for this.

Awe, what a cutie! Congratulations on your new addition to your family!

I agree with above poster, for all our puppies we treated them kind of like a kid might- tugging tails, playing peekaboo with their ears, picking up their feet while they are laying down, using them “like a pillow”, etc. I truly believe that if you do this while they are young they kind of get used to the different feels and learn that it’s not bad to be touched all over. And while I also believe that children should be supervised with animals(they are ANIMALS after all) training a dog this way Could prevent an incident.

She has a more athletic build than I've seen on other Cane Corsos. I love the Silkie in the background--is she the one that chased her? :D
Yes, that little white silkie hen is the boss!

Her father was a big 125 lb corso looking more like the massif type and the mother was about 80 pounds looking more like the Italian boxer type. There's allot of diversity in the breed.
Personally, I'm quite sure she has some American pit-bull tossed in there. Maybe a handsome stranger jumped the fence. :idunnoThe older she gets the more pit-bull looking she's become. But she's a keeper and a I'm pretty mixed myself so I better not judge! He,he! ;)

Oh I agree, she's cool with your chickens, that's a total keeper right there! I think her color is great, I like those rich brindles.
