I have been asking a lot about these two chicks I don't even have yet and how to introduce them to my flock of 6, two-month-old hens. I am going to make a section of the coop for the chicks so the two-month-olds can see but not touch. But my big question is what should I do as they get older? When should I let them interact with each other? The chicks are going to be an 8 or 9 days old when I get them, and like I said will live in half the coop with the adults. I really want to be as prepared as I possibly can before they arrive. We have the old brooder "bin" if I'm not ready in time that we used successfully for the 6 I already have. I just need some advice/ideas/opinions from some experts here!
