Introducing new coop AND 2 new hens

We are getting ready to build a larger coop to replace our starter coop. The new coop will be in the same location, same chicken door entrance, same nest box area, it will just be about triple the size of the old coop.

One reason for the larger coop is that we want to add to our small flock. We started with 3 EE's and, unfortunately, lost one to a reproductive problem. So we want to add 2 for a total of 4. Here are my questions:

1) suggestions on introducing the new birds (I'm aware of keeping them separate but close so they can get used to each other)

2) I've heard introducing a new environment at the same time as the new birds helps (after the see-but-don't-touch period). Should we start using the new coop at the same time for all 4 birds?

I'd appreciate any advice on both introducing the birds and transitioning to the new coop as successfully as possible!

Once the new coop is built, divide the space temporarily with fencing material. Put your old birds on one side put the new birds on the other. Have feeders for both sides. After a month or so, take down the divider. Everyone will be acquainted with each other by then.

When we were going to get new birds, hubby built a smaller temporary coop for the new ladies to stay in for the three to four weeks, with a common fence between them. Sounds like you already know how to integrate. Not sure if you are adding to the old coop, or totally renovating the whole thing. I would get them integrated first, then build your new coop, therefore the pecking order will already be established, and all they'll have to figure out is who gets to sleep where in the new coop. Yes, I would let them have the new coop all at the same time. Chickens really love watching new things happen, and will love any dirt that may be dug up in the process. Good luck!
