Hi guys, so I have 3 5 week old cayuga ducklings, I have a play pen set up outside for them, it's been super nice outside so they've spent a lot of time outside the last 2 weeks. The pen is set up right next to my chicken run, I have 6 hens and 2 roosters (1 rooster is being rehomed next week, he was supposed to be a she) and I have a female pekin I have let the babies in the run with the pekin twice for about 5-10 minutes each time (chickens were locked in the coop, the second time they were out 1 of my hens were in the run with the ducks she is super friendly and could care less about the ducks) the pekin ignored the fact that the ducklings were in with her so I'm a little less worried about the ducks being together but definitely nervous about introducing the ducklings to the rest of the chickens....I want to wait a little longer so they can get more feathers in but when I do introduce them does anyone have any tips?
