Introducing new ducks

Hello i need some advise. I have one male and two female 2 year old ducks. I recently got duckling they are about 1 month old and are actually larger then my male. My question is ever time i introduced the new ducks to the pen my male wants to pen them down and hold them they. They make alot noise. I dont think hes really hurting them. Will the male stop? Im pretty sure my duckling are female. I just feel so bad hearing the duckling make noise.

Our job as duck keepers is to keep our ducks safe and healthy insofar as we are able.

I would not allow that behavior. I would separate them again, and try when the littles are bigger. Because drakes will sometimes exert their control to a point where someone is injured or dead.

I think of that noise as a cry for help.
