Hello! We haves moved to a property that has resident geese and it had Pekin ducks but the last one died a few weeks ago. Our neighbor has kindly arranged for us to get some more. 4 girls and 2 boys.
We have a large dam and I want to introduce them to the dam. We have chickens in another area but I am going to use an old coop to get them settled.
Someone said I should keep them in the coop for a week so they know this is their home, similar to the chickens.
Can I get some good tips introducing them to the dam and getting them settled in? Any advice appreciated!
Thank you!

The Geese will attack them and see them as intruders..
You can try to put them out there, although they will be hard to catch.
Yes, keep them in the Coop. They are not like Chickens so won't go home to roost once it gets dark..You might want to build a pen..
