introducing new "flock" to 1 chicken

I am planning to buy a bigger coop (made of plastic to allow better and easier cleaning).
Probably won't be big enough, are you talking about an Eglu?
.....but please do not get more birds until you have a big enough coop.
Where are you located in this big wide world?

I am in Portugal, I am finishing assembling this thing here:

and I am planning to buy this plastic coop, it says it is good enough for 12 medium sized chickens

this is very expensive but I want to give the birds good conditions.

will try to see the Eglu, maybe it is cheaper...

That looks like a great run!
How big is it?

The coop is not big enough for 12 birds, despite what the manufacturer says.
Typical false advertising.
Save your money for something better...or build a coop.

You might be better off covering part of the run for a 'coop' shelter from the weather.

the run is 6mx3x2 so the chickens will have 12 sqm to play.

that already crossed my mind, using the frame to build a wooden coop but that sounds like a lot of work and probably a very crap job at the end hahaha

I am thinking of installing wheels so the structure will be on the move in my backyard.

yes, can take a picture tomorrow since it is dark now. the yeard is big, you can see it here in another topic I made (scroll down)

regarding predators, that run is to protect the birds from goshawks that I never thought could kill an adult chicken like they did to my poor Lisete.

maybe there are weasels in the woods (probably 1km away but there are houses in between so maybe no problem beside goshawks).

Lots of space...but would be pretty rough to roll....would need large diameter wheels/tires..like bicycle tires.
