introducing new girls to the flock

We just acquired 19 new chickens last night. They are all laying-age. My question is we let our girls free range but how long should we keep the newbies penned in their run area before letting them out? We want them to get used to were to lay. I'm thinking a few days but wanted to see what you knowledgeable folk thought!

First of all....welcome to BYC! Any new birds should be quarantined 30 days, just in case they have something, you don't want to infect your other birds.
