I was just looking at the post on free range vs cooped up. I do both . I have one coop and a small annex area. I just got 2 new hen that are fully grown. I have separated them from the others , 2 other hens, today . the problem is night. What to do when they all want to roost. I can separated again tomorrow , but thought they should roost to be safe, or the new girls can sleep on the floor of the run. Not sure how to handle.
