I currently have a hen and a rooster and am getting new hens for the rooster

I just picked up 3 americanos (16 months old) and I'm introducing them to my barred rock mix (6 months) and rooster (6 months)

What's the best way to go about introducing them?

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
The new comers should ideally be isolated away from your 6 month olds to ensure they don't have disease or parasites for 30 days. After a successful quarantine period you would set up a look don't touch area inside the run (and secure them at night) so they can all see and hear each other but not touch each other. After several days of this, you would release the new comers into the run (that is full of lots of places to perch and things to hide behind) and allow them to explore for about an hour before releasing your original flock. Observe behavior and only intervene if significant blood is drawn or a bird is really being pummeled.
