Our dutch bantam roos will be a little over a year old next spring when we finally get some banty hens. We'll be growing them up from chicks so how and when do we introduce the boys to their new lady friends?

Right now the only hens they know belong to our cochin roo and are 10 times their size. They try sometimes but the girls won't have anything to do with them.

I'd wait until the pullets start to squat. At this point they will be interested in a rooster and they will not fight to get away when he tries to do his thing. You might also want to have plenty of escape places and outdoor roosts if they hens decide they are uninterested.
