Introducing new pullets

I recently introduced my 10 week old pullets to my hens. I’ve read where there can be bullying and picking. Thankfully I haven’t had any injuries. But the pullets seem to be really scared of the hens. You can see in the picture when they go to roost the hens are on one side and the pullets on the other. In your experience does this stage last very long? Do they eventually get along? ive had the hens 2 years and

this is the first time I’ve gotten more chicks. So no experience with integrating new members. Are there things I can do to help? Thank you!
 
they are establishing the pecking order in the enlarged flock. It will resolve. In the meantime, make sure the pullets have plenty of places to run away from a pursuer, and clutter to disrupt a pursuit. Avoid dead ends where one could get cornered and trapped.
