Introducing new pullets

Hello
I have 4 hens all about 24 weeks old, I decided to add 2 five months old to my existing flock.
I understand I need to place them in a separate coop / run area but close enough to the existing flock to see them. Eventually I want them in a same run / coop. Also the new hens are use to free range, which I worry if I let them free range will they know where to come back ? They not use to my property, how 5 months old can get use to the new property and new coop? When can I try to let them free range ? I don’t want to cut off their freedom too much from what they had?

They will know when to come back if you keep them in their coop for 2-3 days. They will know that is their home.
