Introducing Roosters and Hens?

I am going to begin breeding a couple breeds this year and I have a question. Should i put the Rooster into the hens' pen or bring the hen to the Rooster's pen to be bred?? Ive heard that doing it one way vs the other can cause territorial disputes and fights.

Generally any time you put unknown birds together there can be fighting. I guess if you want a quick breeding it probably doesn't matter as long as you separate them after the deed is done.

You can house the rooster where the hens can see him and they will be a bit more receptive if they are familiar with him.
