Introducing Rudi and Rio to Peep and Nibbler

So Rudi and Rio are finally moving out to the pen now that we have their coop set up and I have the back 1/4 of it fenced off.


Rio and Rudi are doing well, splashing around in their pool. Nibbler was a bit agitated at first but he’s pretty mellow so he is just laying in his favorite spot in the sun.

Peep is deeply offended and honked at them for a while, tried to jump the fence, tried to sneak under the fence and bit at them through the fence.
I gave Peep some extra treats and neck scratches and she’s calmed down some but she is still alternating between eying them suspiciously through the fence or grumbling angrily in her pool

We’ve had some rain thankfully. Pond has a little water in it and the duck pen is a mud hole. Got some fresh hay down for them today

We had gone so long without rain grass had started to grow in the pond bed. Thankfully it’s filling up with water again
